Michael Strong, MD

Dr. Strong is the program director for the C/L Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also serves in the Department of Psychiatry as clinical faculty, Associate Vice Chair for Clinical Services, and Director of Integrated Care. He completed medical school and adult psychiatry residency at the University of Iowa, followed by C/L fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical work has included traditional hospital-based C/L, proactive psychiatric consultation, outpatient care for medically complex patients, and collaborative care consultation to primary care clinics. In addition to his passion for medical education and integrated care, he has interests in mobile mental health technologies, quality improvement, interdisciplinary care, and healthcare leadership.
