Abhisek C. Khandai, MD (he/him/his)

Abhisek "Chandan" Khandai is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, TX, serving as a consultation-liaison (C-L) and integrated care psychiatrist at Parkland County Hospital; he also serves as a psychiatrist consultant for the Texas PeriPAN women's mental health line, and collaborative care consultant for UTSW. Growing up in Chicagoland, he completed his medical school and Master's in Neuroscience at University of Pittsburgh, his psychiatry residency at Northwestern, and his C-L fellowship at University of Washington. After training, he first worked as a C-L and med-psych inpatient attending at University of Illinois at Chicago, before moving to his current position at UTSW after meeting his now-wife. He enjoys pop culture, vacation planning, and being a new father.
