What exactly is included in my registration?
FOR THE LIVE/IN-PERSON CONFERENCE: CLP 2023 registration includes four plenary sessions, 200+ posters, 50 oral presentations, 40 workshops, and 12 virtual symposia. The Updates in C-L Psychiatry course is free to Academy members who register for the full meeting and is an additional fee for non-members.
The preconference skills courses are not included in your registration and must be purchased at an additional cost.
FOR THE VIRTUAL COMPONENT: All sessions will be live streamed except for the following: the seven preconference skills courses (recordings will be available post-meeting), the Inaugural Advanced Practice Provider Skills Course and social events. Only the first hour of the 2023 ACLP Developing Scholars Research Colloquium will be live streamed/recorded, as the later breakout sessions are unsuitable for live streaming.
All Live/In-person registrations include the virtual component at no extra cost.
All live-streamed content will be recorded and made available on this site on-demand for six months post-conference. If you're not able to attend some or all the live-streamed content scheduled, you can watch it later at your convenience. Recordings of live-streamed sessions will be added to this site by Nov 30.
What registration type should I choose?
I am a member registered for the in-person meeting, do I have to add the Updates in C-L Psychiatry course to my registration?
Yes, you must register for the course to attend, even though it is free to members. There is a registration limit based on the size of the room; although it is quite large, we need to track registrants to ensure everyone has a seat.
Is there any recorded content this year?
Yes, there are 12 virtual symposia, available to all registrants, that will be posted online shortly before the conference starts. In addition, all live-streamed content will be recorded and made available on this site for six months post-conference.
What is the policy for people who would like to join ACLP and get the member rate?
Please visit https://www.clpsychiatry.org/about-aclp/join-aclp/ before registering for the conference to join. If you already have an account, you will need to sign-in first. If you do not yet have an account, you will need to create one. Once you've submitted your application, you can proceed to registration and will receive the member rate.
What documentation is needed to support a non-member Trainee registration?
You must upload verification of training status on institution letterhead during the registration process.
What is the cancellation/refund policy for the conference?
Cancellations, in writing to info@clpsychiatry.org, are permitted up to and including October 31, 2023, less a USD 100 cancellation fee; students do not pay cancellation fees. At any time up to the first day of the conference, Wed Nov 8, in-person registrations can be converted to live-streamed registration and the fee difference refunded with no cancellation fee. There are no refunds for cancellation of live-stream registrations after October 31.
Refunds are returned to the original credit card whenever possible and take about 5-7 business days to appear in the receiving account. If a refund cannot be returned to the credit card, it will be issued by ACH or check after the conference and speed will be dictated by your responsiveness to completing our required forms, but may take up to 21 days.
Registration fees for cancelled registrations cannot be applied to future ACLP conferences. No refunds of any kind are offered for registrants who do not cancel prior to the conference and who do not attend.
Must every speaker/poster presenter register for the conference this year?
Yes. You cannot present on-site at the Austin conference unless you are registered.

Click on Details next to the virtual event and then click Cancel Registration. When the system asks if you are sure that you want to cancel your registration, say yes.
